Description
This was painted from a reference photo that I took in France while on a trip with my daughter after she graduated from law school. It is a small village, Amboise, where Leonardo da Vinci lived for a period of time. It is also where he died and is buried. It is very close to the Chateua du Clos Luce in the Loire Valley area of France, about two hours southwest of Paris. There are many chateaus in this area, and it was a wonderful place to visit! The original was donated to a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Thank you for visiting!
