I painted this from a reference photo that I took on an annual summer visit with our daughter’s family to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. Lambert’s Cove has a beautiful beach with beautiful views! The huge rock in the foreground helped create the perspective for the sailboat in the distance. The island is so beautiful with abundant subject matter for paintings! The original is not for sale at this time because it is hanging on my wall!
